Let's Go Eat
It has happened to all of us at one time or another. You are in the mood for a chicken cordon bleu and your traveling companion is ready for BBQ. That’s the magic of Cape Girardeau. Cape offers a broad choice of restaurants, grilles, fast food, and delicatessens to satisfy even the most discriminating appetite. Whether it is fine dining or a drive-thru, ethnic foods from Mexican to Chinese, and all palates in between, our eateries are among the finest anywhere.

Restaurants feature enticing cuisine as well as exquisite dining environments. You can dine in an old opera house, at the riverfront where Gen. Grant is thought to have had an office during the Civil War, or at one of our hotels that offer full service dining rooms.

With over 120 restaurants, it’s hard to imagine that you could not find a place to eat. Whether it’s BBQ, Cajun, French, Thai or fast food, there’s always something cooking in and around Cape Girardeau.
